How I came to masonry
I came to masonry late. I spent years selling building supplies, and an old mason I knew from the counter let me work under him until I could lay brick and point a joint the right way, which took longer than I'd like to admit. I started CJ Palm Beach Gardens Concrete & Masonry in 2013, and I've done the work myself here in Palm Beach Gardens and the cities around it ever since. We're best known for careful repointing and brick repair, plus the walls, pavers and stone work people want once the old work is sound.
Most calls start with a cracked joint or a loose brick, and I care that the repair fixes the reason it happened, not just the spot you can see. Between the heat and the summer storms, water works its way into tired mortar around here, so that's usually where I start looking. I'll explain every step, because a homeowner who knows why we did something can trust the work for a long time.
