Agreeing to these terms
These terms cover your use of the CJ Palm Beach Gardens Concrete & Masonry website and any work you hire us to do. By using the site, asking for an estimate or booking a job, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
If a signed estimate or contract for your job says something different from this page, the signed document controls for that job.
What we do
CJ Palm Beach Gardens Concrete & Masonry is a masonry contractor in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. We repair and build brick, block, stone and concrete work for homes in Palm Beach Gardens and the cities around it, from foundation and chimney repair to pavers, retaining walls, walkways and outdoor kitchens. We're licensed and insured.
The service descriptions on our home page and service pages are general information. They aren't a promise of a particular result on your property, because the work we do on your job is what your written estimate says. You can read more about our crew on our about page.
Estimates and pricing
Quotes are free, given on site, and come with no obligation. We look at the work in person because the condition of the existing masonry, access to the area, the materials you choose and the size of the job all change the price.
An estimate is based on what we can see before work starts. If we open a wall or dig out a footing and find hidden damage, poor soil or other conditions nobody could see, we'll stop, show you what we found and give you the added cost before going further. We don't charge for extra work you haven't approved.
An estimate is good for the period written on it. After that, material prices may have changed, so we may need to update the figure.
Scheduling and cancellation
We set a start date with you once you accept the estimate. Weather, material deliveries, permit and inspection timing, and the time mortar and concrete need to cure can all move that date, and we'll tell you as soon as we know of a change.
If you need to reschedule or cancel, call us at (561) 268-0530 as early as you can. If you cancel after we've ordered materials for your job or started work, you're responsible for those materials and the work already done, unless your written agreement says otherwise.
We may reschedule or decline work if the site isn't safe or we can't get to the work area.
Payment
Payment amounts, any deposit and due dates are set in your written estimate or contract. Unless it says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished.
If a payment is late, we may pause work until the account is current. You're responsible for reasonable costs of collecting an overdue balance, to the extent Florida law allows.
Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover
We stand behind our work, and satisfaction is guaranteed on every job. If something we did isn't right, tell us and we'll come back to look at it and make it right.
Any written warranty for your job is the one in your contract. Beyond that, and to the extent Florida law allows, we make no other warranties, express or implied, including any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.
Our guarantee doesn't cover damage from soil settling, storms, flooding, tree roots, impact, misuse, or changes and repairs made by others, and it doesn't cover normal wear and weathering. Materials carry their makers' own warranties, which we'll pass on to you where we can.
Brick, stone and concrete vary naturally in color and texture, and small hairline cracks in concrete are normal, so neither counts as a defect.
Limits on our liability
To the extent Florida law allows, CJ Palm Beach Gardens Concrete & Masonry isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, such as lost use of your property, connected to our website or our work. Our total liability for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.
The information on this site is general and may change. We work to keep it accurate, but it isn't advice for your property until we've seen it in person.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that the law doesn't allow a business to limit.
Settling disagreements
If you have a problem with our work or a bill, call us first so we can try to fix it directly. Most problems get settled that way.
If we can't settle it after talking it through in good faith, either of us may take the matter to the state or county courts in Palm Beach County, Florida.
Which law applies
These terms, your use of this website and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you use the site or sign for a job is the one that applies, and later changes won't alter a contract you've already signed.
If you have questions about these terms, reach us through our contact page or call (561) 268-0530.
